The International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) provides Yukon residents with educational assessment services and compares them to educational credentials in Canada. IQAS assessments are designed to increase access and entry to the job market, educational institutions and n certain cases may be required by professional regulatory organizations. When you get a credential assessment done please ensure that
- it is in accordance with the direction of the regulatory authority of your profession or
- in all other cases, the agency providing assessment services is a member of the Alliance of Credential Evaluation Services of Canada (ACESC).
The Foreign Credentials Referral Office and the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials also provide information, path-finding and referral services on foreign credential recognition to help internationally educated professionals succeed and put their skills to work in Canada more quickly.
Yukon is not currently accepting applications for a limited family or specialist license.
This means that International Medical Graduates must meet the requirements listed on the Medical Profession Licensing Requirements in Yukon.
